Three in a row join

Drag the number from the middle between two bubbles. If three or more equal ones then sit side by side, they become one bubble of the next higher number. It checks its neighbours right away – chain reactions included. When the ring is full, the game is over.

Special bubbles: +, − and ×

Now and then a wobbling special bubble appears instead of a number. You drag it onto a bubble in the ring: plus adds, minus subtracts, times multiplies. They take no room in the ring – just the thing when it gets tight.

Three difficulty levels

Easy (18), Normal (16), Hard (14) bubbles fit in the ring. The harder the level, the more often high numbers come to the middle and the bigger the special bubbles get.

Highscores per level

A top 10 of its own for every level, plus the recent games with score, highest number and date. During play, score, best and the highest number reached so far are always in view at the top.

Alive down to the bubble

The bubbles wobble gently, each in its own rhythm. From 11 on, little moons circle them, so equal colours stay apart. Joins play out step by step, in front of a very faint starry sky.

Calm music and sounds

Four quiet music tracks – Quiet Orbit, Starlight, Deep Field, Soft Tide – and sounds of its own for every step, chains rising in pitch. Music and effects are set separately, and your choice is remembered.

The rules in 30 seconds

A number appears in the middle. You drag it between two bubbles of the ring. If three or more equal ones then sit side by side, they join into one bubble of the next higher number – three 2s become a 3, which may well join on with two 3s. Now and then a special bubble (+, −, ×) comes along, which you drag onto a bubble. Every join scores. When the ring is full, the game is over.

Offline and fair

A number puzzle needs no network and no account. Orbitrio therefore does without both – not as a setting, but in the build itself.

Offline, no exceptions

The game requests not a single Android permission – not even internet access. So it cannot open any connection at all, neither to us nor to anyone else. You can check this in your phone's app details and in the Play Store under “Permissions”.

Everything from the start

No shop, no lives waiting to be bought, no full version. Every level, special bubble and music track is unlocked from the first launch.

No data about you

No account, no sign-in, no analytics or crash reporting SDK. All that sits on the device are your settings and your highscores – and they never leave it.

Made from scratch

Bubbles, icon, music and sounds were created specifically for the game, not bought together from asset shops. Only the foundation and the typeface come from elsewhere: the free Godot game engine (MIT licence) and Orbitron (SIL Open Font License). Both ship with the game; nothing is downloaded.

Privacy

In short: there is nothing to collect. Orbitrio requests not a single permission – not even internet access – and only stores your settings and your highscores on the device. What arises at Google through distribution via Google Play is set out, with all the details, in the app's privacy policy.

This website has a policy of its own – it is under Privacy and describes what happens when you merely visit this page.

Frequently asked questions

What does Orbitrio cost?
Nothing. There is no full version to unlock – all 3 levels, the special bubbles and every music track are there from the start.

Do I need an internet connection?
No, never. The game does not even have the permission to open one. It runs exactly the same in flight mode, on the train and in a dead zone.

How does scoring work?
Every join scores the new number times the number of bubbles joined: three 2s give 3 × 3 = 9 points. In a chain every step scores. The details are in the guide.

How hard is it?
You choose: Easy with 18 places in the ring, Normal with 16 places in the ring, Hard with 14 places in the ring. On the harder levels high numbers and big special bubbles also come more often. Every level has its own highscores.

Is my progress saved?
The highscores and recent games are, on your device. A game in progress is not: continuing from the menu picks up where you left off – after restarting the app a new game begins.

Which languages does the game support?
Deutsch and English – on a device set to German it starts in German, otherwise in English. Android 7.0 or later.

When will Orbitrio be released?
It is being prepared for Google Play. As soon as it is live, the button at the top leads straight to the store listing.

What does this have to do with rellit.de?
The same person is behind it. rellit.de collects small tools that run in the browser – Orbitrio is a game for the phone and therefore gets its own address here.
